Bart A. Aitken
President, Chief Executive Officer and Director

BartMr. Aitken joined Cleaver-Brooks in 2015 as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director. Previously, he served as Group President at St. Louis-based Harbour Group, which acquired Cleaver-Brooks in 2012. Mr. Aitken joined Harbour Group as Group Vice President in 1998 and was named Group President in 1999. In 2005, he assumed the responsibilities of President and CEO of Lincoln Industrial Corporation. Following Harbour Group’s divestiture of Lincoln in 2010, he rejoined Harbour Group as Group President in 2011. In his role as Group President, Mr. Aitken had responsibility for the following portfolio groups: Plastic Processing Equipment, Automotive Accessories, Building Components, Lubricating Systems, Home Products and Boiler Room Solutions.  Prior to joining Harbour Group, he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Engineered Products Group at Kennametal Inc. and Greenfield Industries, Inc., and Director of European Operations at Greenfield. Earlier, he held a number of operations management, manufacturing engineering and planning/analyst positions at RTW, Inc., and TRW, Inc. Mr. Aitken received a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University and an MS degree in Industrial Administration (MBA) from Carnegie Mellon University.

Jimmy Sprouse
Chief Financial Officer

Jimmy SprouseMr. Sprouse joined Cleaver-Brooks in 2013 as Director of Financial Integration and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2017. Previously, Mr. Sprouse served as Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations, and Treasurer for Corizon Health, where he managed banking relationships and treasury and tax functions. He also gained experience working as the Director of Accounting for BBA Fiberweb and as the Corporate Controller for Moll Industries. Mr. Sprouse began his career at Arthur Andersen where he held audit and business advisory roles. Mr. Sprouse earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and is a licensed CPA.

Earle Pfefferkorn
President, Boiler Systems

Earle PfefferkornMr. Pfefferkorn joined Cleaver-Brooks in April 1998 as part of the Aftermarket Products Group. Mr. Pfefferkorn was promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Distribution Sales in 2003 and has served as President of the Packaged Boiler Systems Group since 2005. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Pfefferkorn held engineering, marketing, and operations positions in the heat transfer and metal fabrication industry. Mr. Pfefferkorn is a member of the Board of Directors of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, and is a member of ABMA and the Council of Industrial Boiler Owners. Mr. Pfefferkorn holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin.

Paul M. Anderson
Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Paul Anderson

Mr. Anderson joined Cleaver-Brooks in 2013 as Senior Vice President of Strategic Sales and Marketing. Previously, he held the position of Vice President of Marketing, Product Management and Research Development for the SKF Lubrication Business Unit. SKF purchased Lincoln Holdings Enterprises in 2011, where Mr. Anderson held the position of Global Vice President of Marketing and Product Development. Mr. Anderson began his career at Ingersoll-Rand in 1993 as an Application Engineer. He advanced through the company, serving in a number of sales, marketing and managerial positions across the United States and Canada. When Mr. Anderson left Ingersoll-Rand in 2007, he was Director of Aftermarket for Hussmann in the Americas. Mr. Anderson holds a BA in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto and earned his MBA in Marketing and Finance from York University in Toronto.

P. Welch Goggins, Jr.
Chairman Emeritus

P. Welch Goggins, Jr.Mr. Goggins became Chairman Emeritus in April 2015 after serving as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Cleaver-Brooks for 10 years. Previous to that, Mr. Goggins was Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for the company. Mr. Goggins began his career in 1975 with Industrial Boiler, where he held various sales and marketing, operational management and executive positions. Cleaver-Brooks acquired Industrial Boiler Company in 1992. Mr. Goggins earned a BA in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University. He served as Chairman of the American Boiler Manufacturers Association (ABMA) from 2006 to 2007.
